I had an amazing experience at ILSC–Toronto! It fit perfectly with what I was looking for because ILSC offers a wide range of options – not just the typical ones offered at other schools; this made a huge difference.
In my case, I was looking for advanced courses as I came to ILSC after taking a college degree program for 2 semesters in Toronto. I knew, in order to be more competitive in Canada, I needed to improve my English skills so I enrolled in the advanced IELTS Program with Patrick Talty. Patrick is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He helped me polish my vocabulary and raised the bar of my writing.
The International Current Events and Global Social Issues programs with Tino, Vanessa and Shoshana, where we were regularly challenged to debate, were an incredible growth experience. In addition to this, meeting people from Italy, Japan, Brazil, Switzerland, Korea and other countries too numerous to mention, also made my journey an incredible one.
